Hello Lovelies!
Today I am wearing Nails Inc's "Chelsea Flower Show" from the new Juicy Sheers Collection 2012. Chelsea Flower Show is a rich orange jelly finish polish. Also scented like orange! It is very sheer and took three coats but the nail line is still visible but I don't mind! This is so squishy looking and very glossy!
I really like this polish but hey there's no surprise as I love jellies! I would just like to say a special thank you to Alyssa C for being so wonderfully sweet and thoughtful and arranging for this lovely surprise gift to be sent to me! You really are too sweet!

NOTD - OPI Don't Touch My Tutu and Pirouette My Whistle
Hey Lovelies!
Today I am wearing two new shades from the new OPI NYC Ballet Collection 2012 from my untrieds as part of the "Nail Newbie & Friends Untried Challenge 14th April to 14th May".
I started this manicure with OPI's "Don't Touch My Tutu" which is a sheer milky white jelly finish polish. I applied three coats which was near enough full opacity. Once dry I applied one coat of OPI's "Pirouette My Whistle" which is a super gorgeous silver glitter polish made up of very fine silver glitter and large silver hexagon glitter. The large hexagons are silver but more of a matte silver (I.e. Not mirror silver) absolutely stunning polish - I love it! Very unique to my stash! On top I applied another layer of Don't Touch My Tutu which created the jelly sandwich effect!
I absolutely love this combination together it looks so pretty and princess like! Would make for a great wedding manicure too!If you are interested in the other lovely ladies' untried's posts those of us taking part are:-

NOTD and Review GOSH Gasoline
Hey Lovelies!
Today I am reviewing GOSH's "Gasoline" another of the polishes sent to me by GOSH to review.
Gasoline is a purple jelly based polish with a very fine purple and blue shimmer throughout. The formula was quite sheer and watery but still I had no issues with it. It took three coats to reach opacity.
It is such a pretty purple polish and the shimmer gives it such a shiny finish! I'm not a huge shimmer fan but the more I wore this polish the more it grew on me! I think this will make a great pedi colour too! Can't wait to try that next!

NOTD - ORLY Passionfruit
Good Morning Lovelies! Happy St George's Day!
Unfortunately, I did not prepare well enough for today as thinking about it I should have done a patriotic mani to celebrate St George's Day - I am now hanging my head in shame! I am sure I will be trying out some patriotic mani's later in the year for the Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics though :-)
So for today's mani I am back to my drawer of untried's again taking part in the "Nail Newbie & Friends Untried Challenge 14th April to 14th May". I picked out Orly's "Passionfruit" which is a neon pink creme. The colour is very neon pink in the bottle but on the nails leans towards an orangey pink colour. The formula on this was amazing, I applied two coats and there is still some visible nail line but this is hardly noticeable. The polish is very pigmented and dries matte as per most neons. I applied a topcoat for the glossy effect and it looks very squishy and jelly like!
I bought Passionfruit from www.cheapsmells.com for £2.95 on special offer and this was inclusive of free delivery - such a bargain as usually Orly polishes retail at a lot higher than that in the UK. £2.95 for a huge 18ml bottle though you can't go wrong! This is my very first Orly polish and now I am hooked and in need of more ... fear not there has just been a new collection that has been released called "Feel The Vibe" and guess what ... they are all neons too! I am obsessed with neons at the moment they are so perfect for the summer!

NOTD - Pretty and Polished Party On My Yacht
Happy Friday Lovelies! Yay the weekend is finally here!
Today I am using up one of my untried's for my second post as part of the "The Nail Newbie & Friends Untried Month 14th April to 14th May". There are a few of us in our Birthday Group who are taking part to try and eliminate some of our untried polishes from ever growing stashes!
So for today's untried I picked out Pretty & Polished "Party On My Yacht" which I bought a while back from the Pretty & Polished Etsy store. I purchased the miniature sized bottle but it is also available in full size, however, I am not sure of the stock availability at this very moment but there are some amazing polishes available from the Pretty & Polished store so be sure to check it out!
Party On My Yacht is a sheer milky white based polish with small purple, pink, gold and green hexagon glitters and a few blue bar glitters throughout. I decided layered two coats on top of one coat of OPI's "Alpine Snow" which is a white creme. The formula of Party On My Yacht was great and I think this could be built up without using a base colour of white, you would probably need to apply approximately three coats I would imagine.
I really love this polish and I got many compliments on it today! It reminds me of those "Jazzies" sweets (you know those chocolate buttons with loads of hundreds and thousands on top!) Such a great handmade indie polish!

NOTD and Review of GOSH "Berry Me"
Hello Lovelies!
So the lovely people at GOSH Cosmetics were kind enough to send me some polishes to review and so today I am reviewing GOSH "Berry Me".
Berry Me is a berry purple/claret creme/jelly polish. Application was flawless and a one coater! However, as per the norm I applied two. Berry Me is super glossy and very squishy looking even without topcoat! An absolutely gorgeous vamp nail polish to add to my collection, I am really impressed with this!
Berry Me is a special edition polish and not available at the moment but I have been informed it shall be re-released in August in Superdrug stores here in the UK. GOSH polishes retail at £5 per bottle.
Keep a look out for more GOSH swatches on my blog very soon as I will be reviewing some more.

NOTD - Models Own Hed Kandi Beach Party
Hey Lovelies!
This month I am taking part in "The Nail Newbie & Friends Untried Month 14th April to 14th May". There are a few of us in our Birthday Group who are taking part to try and get through some of our huge piles of untried's!
For my first untried today I bring to you Model's Own Hed Kandi "Beach Party". This is a seriously bright neon orange creme polish with a yellow undertone - unfortunately my camera would not pick up the accurate colour as it is quite a lot more yellow than the photos below! Beach Party took two coats to reach opacity but on a couple of nails I applied three where they still seemed a little streaky. It dries a little matte as per most neon polishes and I applied a topcoat to add some gloss. This is seriously bright and would make a great holiday polish and would look great against a tan (which I am seriously lacking!) My nails are distracting me from typing this up they are that bright! I am really loving neons at the moment and really pleased I bought this one!
Models Own Hed Kandi Collection polishes are available from Boots at £5 per bottle.

NOTD - Purple Leopard Print Nails
Hello Lovelies!
Today I am wearing NYC Color "Battery Park Purple" which is a deep purple creme polish. It took me three coats to achieve full opacity but I may have got away with two if I applied it more carefully and waited for it to dry more between coats. I wanted to add some nail art so used Konad's M57 plate with the leopard print design. For the leopard print stamping I used GOSH's "Metallic Purple" which is a pinky, purple lilac metallic polish! This applied and transferred great with the stamping kit and it is a great polish to use for stamping!
I bought GOSH Metallic Purple from Superdrug for £4.99 and NYC was also from Superdrug for £1.79.

NOTD - OPI A Roll In The Hague
Good evening lovelies!
Today I am wearing OPI's "A Roll In The Hague" from OPI's new Holland Collection 2012.
A Roll In The Hague is a bright orange orange creme. Application was perfect and took two coats for full opacity.
This polish is very fitting for Spring/Summer and I really like it! I wasn't sure of orange at first but it has grown on me and I will be keeping it on for an extra day!!

NOTD - China Glaze Liquid Crystal
Hello Lovelies!
I hope you all had a lovely Easter! Mine was certainly one to remember! I attended a Wedding and a Christening and had a proposal so I am now ENGAGED!!! *Happy Dance*;-)
So, to co-ordinate with my new rock I wanted a sparkly manicure and so I reached for China Glaze's "Liquid Crystal" from the new Prismatics Collection 2012. Liquid Crystal is made up of a blue/purple duo-chrome tiny glitter and has small multi-colour glitter throughout!
The formula was good and application a lot easier than anticipated as it took just two coats to reach full opacity! The glitter in this polish is very dense and dries quick also! The blue/purple duo-chrome was hard to photograph and is more obvious in real life.
This is such a sparkly polish especially under the light! Very pretty and eye-catching! I am looking forward to receiving my other Prismatics from this collection.
I have included a photo of my engagement ring too!

NOTD - Models Own Hed Kandi Hedonist
Hello Lovelies!
Today I am wearing Models Own "Hedonist" from the new Hed Kandi Collection 2012. Hedonist is a super bright neon coral orange creme that dries to a matte finish. The formula was ok but at times I struggled finding it a bit thick to apply. It took two coats to achieve full opacity and I applied a topcoat for a glossy effect as it dried matte.
This is so bright! Highlighter pen bright! This would be great to wear for raves, festivals and holidays! It is a gorgeous neon colour and very eye-catching!

NOTD - GOSH Holographic
Good Morning Lovelies!
So the sun was shining on Sunday and I finally reached for GOSH's "Holographic" that was kindly gifted to me a while ago by a super lovely lady!
On Sunday I was short of time to paint my nails and so I reached for GOSH "Holographic" before I went out for the day! Holographic is a silver linear holographic polish. I applied Holographic to my bare nails without a base coat and it took three coats to reach full opacity which didn't matter considering each coat dried so quickly! I had heard that applying topcoat dulls the holographic effect and so I didn't apply a topcoat.
All I have to say is WOW!!! I have never worn a polish like it! The photos below are some taken outside in sunlight and some in my kitchen under spotlights! The rainbow effect is amazing! Such a stunning polish and very eye-catching! This is such a perfect colour to wear for those summer BBQ's, outdoor parties and even for holidays when the sun is always shining! Would also make for a great pedi! I will definitely be getting a lot of wear out of this!
Now if you are reading this and wondering where you can get your "nails" on this well I have some GOOD news and have been reliably informed that this will be re-released at the beginning of August this year in Superdrug stores! I will definitely be getting a couple more bottles of this as it is so spectacular and a real statement polish!
