NOTD - Halloween Nails - Orly R.I.P

Happy Halloween Lovelies!

I am off to watch my favourite band "The Killers" tonight and I'm so excited! It's also Halloween and I am wearing a Halloween themed polish.

For this manicure I used 2 coats of China Glaze's "Liquid Leather" my go to black creme polish. I then layered 2 coats of Orly's "R.I.P" on top. RIP is a black based polish with tiny orange glitters and large orange glitter hexagons. It was easy to apply and only required one coat of top coat and its fairly smooth to touch. The colours remind me a lot of Halloween and pumpkins!

NOTD - October Breast Cancer Awareness Nails

Hey lovelies!

Long time no see! Sorry for the lack of posts lately time has been running away with me!

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month I wore this mani a couple of weeks ago supporting the cause.

For the base colour I used 2 coats of Nails Inc's "Brompton Place" a beautiful pink creme. For the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons design I used Bundle Monster's BM-321 plate and Barry M's "Silver Foil" for the stamping polish.

I'm really happy with the way this turned out! What do you think? X

NOTD - OPI My Very First Knockwurst and Barry M Rose Quartz Glitter

Hey lovelies!

Today I am wearing OPI's "My Very First Knockwurst" which is a nude pink creme polish from the Germany Collection 2012. Application was ok and required three coats for full opacity.

For an accent I used one coat of Barry M's "Rose Quartz Glitter" which is from their new Jewel collection. Rose Quartz is made up of medium rose pink hexagon glitters and fine holographic glitter. It is so shiny and catches the light really well. I seriously could not stop looking at my nails. I love this manicure it is so subtle and pretty. I definitely think this glitter is a MUST HAVE! Think I need a back up!!!

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am wearing one of the new glitter polishes from Barry M "Ruby Glitter".

Ruby glitter is a clear base polish with lots of tiny black glitters and small black hexagon glitters and medium red hexagon glitters. Application was good and I layered the polish over Sally Hansen's "Eel Skin" which a grey shade. I used three costs of Eel Skin and one coat of Ruby Glitter.

I am happy with the outcome feels perfect for today which has been non-stop raining!!!

NOTD - Barry M Gelly Blackberry

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am wearing Barry M's "Blackberry" from their new Gelly Hi-Gloss collection.

Blackberry is a deep dark purple polish. It is highly pigmented and would be a careful one coater but I used two. The formula was good. The polish is shiny, however, I think I could have achieved this with Seche Vite and another dark purple this just wasn't gel like enough for me.

Base coat: OPI Nail Envy
Colour Polish: Barry M "Blackberry" x 2 coats
Top coat: Seche Vite

NOTD - Barry M Gelly Grapefruit

Hey lovelies!

Today I am wearing another of my new Barry M Gelly polishes - I bought 5 so there are still more swatches to come!!

Today's polish is Barry M Gelly "Grapefruit" which is a coral colour and again another super glossy polish.

Application required two thick coats for full opacity although some nails still required a further third coat.

This is such a pretty polish and my nails look like plastic with it on which I like and I guess represents the gel like nails!
