NOTD - Barry M Magnetic Multi Sparkle

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am wearing Barry M's Magnetic "Multi Sparkle". Multi Sparkle is a grey silver polish with tiny holographic particles throughout. It comes with a magnet attached to the lid of the polish which easily detaches. The magnet has a horizontal stripes design.

I applied one coat of the polish and then I applied another coat onto each nail but this time one by one whilst the polish was still wet I would hover the magnet above the nail (as close as I could get to the nail without disturbing the polish). I held the magnet there for approx 15 seconds and then pulled away to reveal a gorgeous striped effect. Like magic the design appears with dark stripes and the holographic sparkle is much more apparent.

Well this is my first magnetic polish that I have purchased. I wasn't sure I would ever like them but I am so happy with this one it has definitely changed my view.

I bought this from Superdrug on offer 2 for £8. Usual RRP £4.99 each. I bought the colour "burgundy" with a diagonal stripes magnet which no doubt I will be wearing this week so stay tuned for my review on that one.

NOTD - China Glaze Under The Boardwalk

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am wearing China Glaze's "Under The Boardwalk" a pink/purple polish from the Summer Neons Collection 2012. The formula was great and required two coats for full opacity. The finish is very shiny and squishy looking with added topcoat.

I went for a meal yesterday for a hen party during the day and so wanted to jazz my nails up a bit and so I reached for a glitter polish, naturally! I used Milani's Jewel FX 580 Fuscia which is made up of fine fuscia glitters and medium hexagon fuscia glitters. I used two coats and some dabbing was required as I was trying to create a gradient and needed more glitter towards the tips. These colours blend so well together much more so in real life than what my camera shows!

NOTD - Nails Inc Warwick Street

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am wearing Nails Inc's "Warwick Street" a milky white based polish with ultra fine red, blue and silver glitter throughout. The polish is packed full of the fine glitter and gives a grey look to the polish colour overall. Application was good and just required two coats for full opacity. It felt a little gritty to the touch with just one coat of topcoat but was smooth with two coats of topcoat. If I'm honest one minute I was loving this polish and then the other I wasn't. I couldn't make up my mind whether to repaint them the following night but instead decided to stamp over Warwick Street as my base colour.

I used the newspaper/script design from Bundle Monster's BM-311 plate together with Konad Special Black polish for the stamping.

I am over the moon with the outcome as with the base coat giving that grey look really was effective and looked just like newspaper print!

NOTD - Sally Hansen Pacific Blue

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am wearing Sally Hansen's Xtreme "Pacific Blue". Pacific Blue is the most gorgeous blue I have tried and yes I have Nails Inc Baker Street. It is just so vibrant and eye-catching! The pigment is very strong and almost a one coater polish but as per the norm I used two. The formula was good too! Unfortunately my photos do not do this polish as much justice as it deserves as my camera just couldn't pick the true colour up!

I am absolutely loving this and it is now without a doubt my favourite blue of all time!

What's more I picked this polish up from the local market for a bargainous £2!

NOTD - Nails Inc Portobello Oranges

Hey Lovelies!

Today I am showing you one of last week's mani's which was another stamping mani.

I used Nails Inc "Portobello" a sheer neon orange polish for the base colour. I used two coats to reach opacity. The formula was good and I really like the colour. I used the citrus stamp BM 308 from the new Bundle Monster set and applied it with Konad Special Black polish.

I wasn't too happy with this manicure I don't know why it just didn't sit right with me. Not to mention I asked my other half what I had on my nails to which he replied "flowers" then I asked my dad and he said "ladybirds" (he wasn't wearing his glasses though!!!!) Made me laugh if anything else ... Just shows how uninterested they really are!
