Hello Lovelies!
Today I am wearing Nails Inc's "Porchester Square" a nude creme polish that required two coats for full opacity. Such a stunning polish all by itself but I still decided the following day to stamp over it.
I used the leopard print design on Konad's M57 plate and applied with Konad Special Black polish. To fill in the leopard spots I used a dotting tool dipped into Orly's "Glow Stick" neon yellow polish.
This has to be one of my favourite manicures yet as I am obsessed with all things leopard print and love neons too!

NOTD - Olympics Inspired Nails
Hey Lovelies!
So today it's the official launch of the Olympics with the opening ceremony happening tonight ... I'm excited! Not the biggest fan of sports - too scared I would break a nail but I can't deny I am so excited for the Olympics! Firstly it's hosted by Great Britain this year and secondly I just love it when we unite and celebrate occasions such as this really makes me proud to be British!
So without further ado, please let me introduce my Olympics inspired nails. I chose to go with the theme "Go Team GB" as naturally I shall be supporting Team GB in all events in the next few weeks! For the base colour I used two coats of my go to white OPI's "Alpine Snow". I then used Barry M's "Jewel Britannia" - a clear based polish made up of red, silver and blue hexagon glitters and fine holographic glitters. Such a stunning polish and one I am very pleased to add to my collection. I applied one coat and then took a few photos. I loved it do much but was itching to do a jelly sandwich for something a little different and so I applied a very thin layer of Essie's "Marshmallow" which is a sheer milky white polish. This created a beautiful jelly sandwich effect, however, sadly I applied it just a little too thick on a couple of nails and was disappointed as it dulled the glitter too much underneath. Still I am loving this mani it makes me feel very patriotic.
Barry M's Jewel Britannia is available online only sadly :-( but I suggest you grab it whilst you can as it is limited edition and is a perfect polish for all you Americans too!

NOTD - Summer Aztec Nails
Hey Lovelies!
Today I am wearing Essie's "Lights" Hot Neon Pink polish as the base colour. I then applied Essie's "Action" a bright neon yellow/orange with a sponge to create a gradient effect from the tip to mid-way down the nail. The gradient didn't work out as I would have liked so I decided to stamp over the top.
I used the Aztec/Tribal design from plate BM-315 to stamp over my nails with Konad's Special Black polish.
This is probably one of my favourite nail designs I have tried to date! I absolutely love it! Fits in well with the scorching weather we are experiencing in the UK at the moment and as for the Essie's they are such gorgeous colours! I can see this stamping design being used a lot in future! Absolutely love it!

NOTD - Nails Inc Sloane Gardens
Hey Lovelies!
Today I am wearing Nails Inc's "Sloane Gardens". Sloane Gardens is a clear based polish packed full of dark blue fine glitters. Application was good and required two fairly thick coats. I used two coats of topcoat to even out the grittiness.
I really like this polish it's so beautiful it also went perfect with my outfit that I wore to a wedding on Saturday!
I received this polish as part of the TSV set that I bought from QVC last week. The set contains 7 polishes and they are all so great! I can't wait to try out the rest!

NOTD - China Glaze Ride The Waves
Hello Lovelies!
Today I am wearing China Glaze's "Ride The Waves" from the Summer Neons Collection 2012. Ride The Waves is a blue jelly polish. Application was good and required two coats. There is still a little visible nail line but this doesn't bother me.
I love jelly polishes and this one is exceptionally squishy looking!

NOTD - Lex Tuilleries
Hey Lovelies!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately I've been super busy with my daughter's 1st Birthday that was at the weekend.
As it was my daughter's birthday I wanted to wear a pretty pink glitter polish and so I chose Lex Cosmetics "Tuilleries" quite fitting really as my daughter's name is Alexis - Lex/Lexi for short. Tuilleries is a sheer pink based polish with medium red, orange, pink and silver hexagon glitters throughout and fine silver glitters. I used three coats to reach opacity and I love the jelly sandwich effect. Some of the silver glitters almost look white. This polish is truly gorgeous much more stunning in real life. Application was great too!
After a day of wearing this alone I decided to stamp an accent nail with my new Bundle Monster plates. I used the newspaper print design on plate BM 315 with Konad's Special Black. I absolutely love this design and can't wait to use it some more!
Lex Cosmetics unfortunately do not ship internationally and are available in the US for $10.

NOTD - On Wednesday We Wear Pink
Hey lovelies!
As it is Wednesday I am wearing a pink themed mani! For the base colour I used OPI's "Steady As She Rose". Steady As She Rose is from last Year's Pirate's of the Caribbean Collection. It is a dusty pale pastel pink creme polish. It took three coats to reach opacity which was a little disappointing. However, the colour totally made up for that - I will post swatches within the next couple of days of it on its own - so pretty!
For the stamping I used a scribble heart design from Cheeky Plate CH15 and used Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri "Presto Pink". I am really happy with this as a stamping polish it dries super quick.
This mani looks very feminine and I really like it!

NOTD - China Glaze Hey Sailor Circle Stamping
Hey Lovelies!
Today I am wearing a mani inspired by the group AIS on Facebook where Sunday's Challenge was "Dots and Circles".
For the base I used China Glaze's "Hey Sailor" a stunning red creme polish. The formula was great and required two coats for full opacity this polish delivers high shine and is so gorgeous!
For the stamping challenge I chose a circle design on Cheeky Plate CH9 and applied it to the nails using good old Barry M's "Gold Foil". Such a perfect metallic gold polish ideal for stamping and only £3.99! I have used for stamping many of times and it never disappoints!
I am really happy with this combination!
